The successful candidate will provide comprehensive heart failure services, partner with transplant and VAD teams, and participate in teaching, research, and clinical leadership to advance cardiology in the Northeast.

Qualifications

• MD/DO or related degree with board certification or eligibility in Cardiovascular Disease.
• Clinically oriented with research and teaching abilities for academic appointment.
• Formal training in advanced heart failure, mechanical circulatory support, and heart transplantation, or equivalent clinical practice.
• Leadership qualities; collaborative and multidisciplinary approach to patient care.
• Strong communication skills and passion for high-quality heart failure care.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre- and post-operative heart failure care within a multidisciplinary team.
• Collaborate with specialists in electrophysiology, interventional cardiology, imaging, and cardiothoracic surgery.
• Teach, mentor, and collaborate with medical students, residents, and fellows; contribute to research.
• Support heart transplant and VAD patient care with regional academic centers in the Northeast.
