Qualifications

• MD/DO or related degree with board certification or eligibility in Cardiovascular Disease.
• Clinically oriented with teaching abilities to be eligible for an academic appointment.
• Formal training in advanced heart failure, mechanical circulatory support, and heart transplantation, or equivalent clinical practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre- and post-operative care for heart transplant and VAD patients.
• Collaborate with regional academic cardiac surgical centers and a multidisciplinary team.
• Teach, mentor, and participate in research to advance the field of cardiology.
