Job summary

Albany Medical College invites a Heart Failure Cardiologist to join its Division of Cardiology, strengthening the region's only comprehensive DNV-certified advanced heart failure program.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team across electrophysiology, imaging, and CT surgery, providing expert care for heart failure and transplant patients while engaging in teaching and scholarly activity.

Qualifications

• MD/DO or related degree with board certification or eligibility in Cardiovascular Disease.
• Clinically oriented with potential for academic appointment and some teaching.
• Formal training in advanced heart failure, mechanical circulatory support, and heart transplantation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre- and post-operative heart failure care in collaboration with regional cardiac centers.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including electrophysiology, imaging, and cardiac surgery.
• Participate in teaching, mentoring, and scholarly activities within Albany Medical College.
