Job summary

Virtua Health is seeking an Echocardiographer to perform high-quality ultrasound images of the heart, adhering to ICAEL standards and departmental policies. You will support the cardiology division with 2D echo, stress echo, and transesophageal procedures in a patient-centered environment.

The role requires at least 1 year of echocardiography experience and completion of an accredited program. ARDMS/CCI credentials must be obtained within one year.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of echocardiography experience.
• Knowledge of Stress Echocardiography and Transesophageal Echocardiography procedures.
• Graduate of accredited echocardiography program.

Responsibilities

• Performs 2D echo Doppler studies, edits in digital system, and processes for physician interpretation.
• Performs stress echo and dobutamine stress echo studies, edits in digital system, and processes for physician interpretation.
• Performs transesophageal echocardiograms with the cardiologist, edits and processes for physician interpretation.
