• Active New York Hearing Instrument Specialist license is required.
• Experience fitting and programming hearing aids is required.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Conduct hearing evaluations within licensure scope.
• Recommend hearing aid technology based on patient needs and lifestyle.
• Fit, program, adjust, and troubleshoot hearing aids.
• Provide counseling and ongoing follow-up care.
• Perform hearing aid cleanings, maintenance, and minor repairs.
• Take ear impressions as needed.
