Job summary

A healthcare provider in California is seeking a passionate Hearing Instrument Specialist to deliver exceptional patient care. This role involves conducting hearing evaluations and recommending appropriate hearing devices. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills and a CA Hearing Aid Dispensing license. What We’re Looking For

We're seeking an exceptional Hearing Instrument Specialist or Hearing Instrument Specialist Trainee to join our team of dedicated professionals. Are you passionate about providing the best patient care as part of a growing team? We look forward to learning more about you!

What You’ll Do
  • Conduct diagnostic comprehensive hearing evaluations
  • Execute a treatment plan through excellent counseling and education
  • Recommend and fit proper hearing devices based on patient's needs
  • Assist in clinical administrative functions including phone calls, documentation, and reporting
  • Maintain confidentiality of all business and patient information
  • Adherence to company policies and procedures
  • May also be involved in marketing and public outreach, including community events, lunch and learns, health fairs, and senior living events
What You’ll Need
  • Demonstrated experience building strong and positive relationships with patients
  • Active CA Hearing Aid Dispensing license
  • Patient-centered approach with great listening skills
  • Strong communication skills and ability to influence others
