Job summary

Nations Benefits Hearing Center in Council Bluffs, IA is seeking an audiologist to evaluate candidacy, recommend and fit hearing aids, and educate patients in a retail clinical setting with strong operational support.

You will conduct comprehensive evaluations, program and verify devices, perform follow‑ups, maintain accurate records, and collaborate with leadership to support center performance and patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current Audiology license or Hearing Aid Dispensing license in the state of role (required)
• Strong clinical, counseling, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to explain technical concepts in a clear, patient-friendly manner
• Comfort working in a retail healthcare setting
• Commitment to ethical practice and patient-focused care
• Willingness to participate in ongoing professional development

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive hearing evaluations using best‑practice clinical protocols
• Interpret test results and recommend individualized hearing care solutions based on patient needs and lifestyle
• Present product options clearly, emphasizing value, long‑term benefits, and patient outcomes
• Program, fit, and verify hearing instruments, including new, premium technology from major manufacturers
• Perform routine follow‑up visits, cleanings, adjustments, and hearing aid repairs
• Maintain accurate and compliant patient records, including documentation and outcome measures
• Deliver exceptional service that supports patient satisfaction, loyalty, and positive clinical outcomes
• Collaborate with leadership and peers to support center performance and continuous improvement
