Job summary

DOCS Health is seeking a qualified hearing technician to support military service members through fixed-clinic, mobile treatment, and telemedicine services.

Responsibilities include performing manual audiograms and evaluations, and reviewing results for accuracy and reliability. A CAOHC certification is required, with last two years’ experience as an audiology technician. Military experience preferred.

Qualifications

• CAOHC certification required.
• Experience as an audiology technician within the last two years.
• Experience with military settings preferred.
• DOE HRS and BENSON software experience preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification preferred.
• Proficient with computer programs.

We will primarily work weekends, with some occasional weekdays on an "as needed basis".

We Provide Health Readiness Services To Meet The Medical And Dental Requirements To Maintain a Deployable Military Force For The Following:

• U.S. Army Reserve (USAR)
• Army National Guard (ARNG)
• U.S. Navy Reserve (USNR)
• U.S. Marine Forces Reserve (MARFORRES)
• U.S. Coast Guard Reserve (USCGR)
• Air National Guard (ANG)
• U.S. Air Force Reserve (USAFR)

Responsibilities:

• Perform manual audiograms and evaluations.
• Review test results for quality control, contrast, detail, and adequate demonstration of hearing.

Requirements:

• Current certification as a hearing technician or occupational hearing conservationist
• Experience within the last two years working as a Audiology Technician
• Experience working with military - preferred
• CAOHC is required
• Experience working with DOEHRS and BENSON software - preferred
• CPR/BLS certification is preferred
• Proficient with computer programs
