Job summary

DOCS Health is seeking a CAOHC-certified hearing technician to support military service members with hearing conservation services. The role emphasizes manual audiograms, quality checks, and field deployments during weekend shifts with occasional weekday coverage.

Candidates should have active CAOHC certification and recent audiology technician experience; CPR/BLS and DOEHRS/Benson software familiarity are preferred. A background check and E-Verify may apply.

Qualifications

• CAOHC certification as hearing technician or occupational hearing conservationist.
• Recent (≤2 years) experience as an audiology technician.
• Military experience preferred.
• DOE-HRS and BENSON software familiarity preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification is preferred.

Job description

Attention all hearing conservationists, we are calling on you to help us provide services to our Military Service members. CAOHC is required.

We will primarily work weekends, with some occasional weekdays on an "as needed basis".

Requirements

We provide health readiness services to meet the medical and dental requirements to maintain a deployable military force for the following:

• U.S. Army Reserve (USAR)
• Army National Guard (ARNG)
• U.S. Navy Reserve (USNR)
• U.S. Marine Forces Reserve (MARFORRES)
• U.S. Coast Guard Reserve (USCGR)
• Air National Guard (ANG)
• U.S. Air Force Reserve (USAFR)

Responsibilities

• Perform manual audiograms and evaluations.
• Review test results for quality control, contrast, detail, and adequate demonstration of hearing.

Requirements

• Current certification as a hearing technician or occupational hearing conservationist
• Experience within the last two years working as a Audiology Technician
• Experience working with military - preferred
• CAOHC is required
• Experience working with DOEHRS and BENSON software - preferred
• CPR/BLS certification is preferred
• Proficient with computer programs
