Job summary

DOCS Health is seeking a skilled Hearing Technician to support military health readiness programs. You will perform manual audiograms, review results for accuracy, and ensure CAOHC standards are met.

Weekend work with occasional weekday shifts is typical, with duties spanning multiple reserve and guard services. Applicants must hold CAOHC certification and have recent Audiology Technician experience, preferably in military contexts.

Qualifications

• Must hold CAOHC certification to practice.
• Experience as Audiology Technician within the last 2 years.
• Military setting experience preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification preferred.

Job description

Attention all hearing conservationists, we are calling on you to help us provide services to our Military Service members. CAOHC is required.

We will primarily work weekends, with some occasional weekdays on an "as needed basis".

Requirements

We provide health readiness services to meet the medical and dental requirements to maintain a deployable military force for the following:

• U.S. Army Reserve (USAR)
• Army National Guard (ARNG)
• U.S. Navy Reserve (USNR)
• U.S. Marine Forces Reserve (MARFORRES)
• U.S. Coast Guard Reserve (USCGR)
• Air National Guard (ANG)
• U.S. Air Force Reserve (USAFR)

Responsibilities

• Perform manual audiograms and evaluations.
• Review test results for quality control, contrast, detail, and adequate demonstration of hearing.

Requirements

• Current certification as a hearing technician or occupational hearing conservationist
• Experience within the last two years working as a Audiology Technician
• Experience working with military - preferred
• CAOHC is required
• Experience working with DOEHRS and BENSON software - preferred
• CPR/BLS certification is preferred
• Proficient with computer programs
