Job summary

DOCS Health is seeking a Hearing Technician to support military health readiness services. The role focuses on performing manual audiograms and evaluations for service members and reserves, with CAOHC certification preferred and weekend work with occasional weekdays as needed.

Qualifications

• Current certification as hearing technician or occupational hearing conservationist (CAOHC preferred)

• Proficient with common computer programs

Job description

Attention all hearing conservationists, we are calling on you to help us provide services to our Military Service members. CAOHC is required.

We will primarily work weekends, with some occasional weekdays on an "as needed basis".

Requirements

We provide health readiness services to meet the medical and dental requirements to maintain a deployable military force for the following:

• U.S. Army Reserve (USAR)
• Army National Guard (ARNG)
• U.S. Navy Reserve (USNR)
• U.S. Marine Forces Reserve (MARFORRES)
• U.S. Coast Guard Reserve (USCGR)
• Air National Guard (ANG)
• U.S. Air Force Reserve (USAFR)

Responsibilities

• Perform manual audiograms and evaluations.
• Review test results for quality control, contrast, detail, and adequate demonstration of hearing.

Requirements

• Current certification as a hearing technician or occupational hearing conservationist
• Experience within the last two years working as a Audiology Technician
• Experience working with military - preferred
• CAOHC is required
• Experience working with DOEHRS and BENSON software - preferred
• CPR/BLS certification is preferred
• Proficient with computer programs
