Job summary

One Brooklyn Health System Inc. seeks a program director to lead the HealthySteps initiative within Brookdale Hospital’s pediatric primary care. The role combines strategic and clinical leadership to deliver family-centered, developmentally appropriate services for infants and young children.

You will supervise a multidisciplinary team, manage grants and budgets, and ensure fidelity to the HealthySteps model while reporting outcomes and collaborating with community partners.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in psychology, social work, or counseling required.
• Doctoral degree in psychology, counseling, social work, infant mental health or related discipline preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of progressively responsible experience in program administration, clinical program operations, or project management.
• Minimum of 2 years of supervisory or management experience, including staff development and performance management.
• Experience in healthcare/pediatric/behavioral health/integrated primary care settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and reflective supervision to a multidisciplinary team of seven staff, interns, and volunteers.
• Oversee grant management, including development, submission, and reporting.
• Develop and manage budgets for HealthySteps operations and grants.
• Ensure fidelity to the HealthySteps model and oversee program evaluation and data reporting.
• Collaborate with pediatric providers and community partners to support coordinated care.
