Healthy Start Program Supervisor
Charlotte Behavioral Health Care (CBHC) is seeking a compassionate and motivated Healthy Start Program Supervisor to lead our Healthy Start/Connect team serving pregnant women, infants, and families throughout Charlotte County.
What You’ll Do
- Supervise, coach, and support staff in providing high-quality home visiting and care coordination services.
- Ensure compliance with Healthy Start standards and guidelines, Department of Health requirements, and agency policies.
- Monitor documentation, service delivery, productivity, and program outcomes.
- Review charts and documentation for quality and regulatory compliance.
- Provide training, mentoring, and performance feedback to staff.
- Coordinate services for families experiencing medical, behavioral, social, or environmental risk factors.
- Collaborate with physicians, hospitals, the Department of Health, Healthy Start Coalition, Early Steps, WIC, community agencies, and other partners.
- Participate in community coalitions, outreach activities, and collaborative meetings.
- Assist with program reporting, quality improvement initiatives, and contract performance monitoring.

Qualifications
- Two years of college (social science, social work, or health-related field) and three years of public health/maternal-child health experience required.
- Bachelor's degree in social sciences, health-related field (nursing, health education, health planning, or health care administration), or social work preferred.
- Thorough knowledge of maternal child health and well-being plus child abuse and neglect prevention.
- Knowledge of local social services resources (or ability to quickly build it).
- Valid Florida driver's license, safe driving record, and reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass Level II Background Screening and drug test.
