Job summary

Bridgestone Americas, Inc. is seeking a Health & Safety Manager to direct and coordinate safety initiatives for the facility.

You will develop policies to mitigate hazards, investigate accidents, and provide training on safety protocols to ensure regulatory compliance. The role requires leadership experience, collaboration with engineers and management, and the ability to maintain injury/illness records for regulatory reporting.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with 6+ years of relevant experience, including 3–5 years in management.
  • Master's degree with 4+ years of relevant experience, including 2–4 years leadership.
  • Experience applying health and safety regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement policies to identify and mitigate hazardous conditions.
  • Investigate accidents and coordinate with engineers and regulators.
  • Train staff on safety protocols and conduct audits for compliance.
  • Maintain records of injuries and illnesses for regulatory reporting.
