Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies is hiring a Cook to prepare healthy meals for children, following recipes developed by our in‑house nutritionist. You will ensure safe food handling, manage supplies, and support center operations.

Ideal candidates include those with a Food Handler’s License and experience in institutional cooking. The role is on-site, with a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated love for children and desire to make a daily difference.
• Ability to follow nutritious menus and prepare meals accordingly.
• Understanding of food safety, allergies, cross‑contamination avoidance, and proper storage.

Responsibilities

• Maintain kitchen and related equipment safely and hygienically.
• Order food and supplies to support center meals.
• Dispense and store medication as requested and documented.
• Complete timely and accurate documentation per KinderCare and licensing requirements.
• Support center staff and leadership to help enroll, achieve accreditation, and drive engagement.
