Job summary

Revitalize CDC seeks a Healthy Homes Coordinator-DPH Lead to drive day-to-day operations of the Massachusetts Department of Public Health Lead Grant within Neighborhood Sustainability. You will guide households through lead-hazard reduction steps, coordinate inspections and contractor work, and maintain clear documentation.

The role requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication, travel across Western Massachusetts, and occasional after-hours availability for community events.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple households, properties, deadlines, and project stages.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to explain technical or regulatory information clearly.
• Detail-oriented with accurate documentation.
• Ability to work with diverse households and partners.
• Willingness to travel throughout Western Massachusetts and nearby areas.
• Evening or weekend availability for community events may be required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day implementation of the DPH Lead Grant per program requirements and policies.
• Serve as primary contact for homeowners, tenants, and landlords in the program.
• Outreach to explain requirements and guide applicants through lead-hazard reduction steps.
• Assist with applications and collecting eligibility, ownership, income, and property documentation.
• Maintain regular communication and provide updates on inspections, status, and next steps.
• Coordinate inspections, risk assessments, contractor walkthroughs, remediation, and closeout.
• Ensure compliance documentation, licenses, permits, and certifications are in place.
