Job summary

Life Time in New York is seeking a Restaurant Cook to join a health-minded team in a fast-paced setting focused on serving our members leading healthy options. You will prepare items by following recipes and food safety guidelines, while supporting a clean and safe kitchen environment.

Responsibilities include stocking and cleaning duties, managing kitchen flow with sandwich and salad stations, and ensuring consistency and quality in every dish.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• ServSafe certification required within the first 90 days of hire.
• CPR/AED certification required within the first 30 days of hire.
• Ability to routinely bend to lift more than 20 lbs; capable of moving about the cafe for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to daily Bistro needs including stocking supplies and maintaining cleanliness and kitchen safety.
• Maintains LifeCafe and kitchen cleanliness including sweeping, mopping, equipment cleaning and dishwashing.
• Manages the flow of food production with sandwich and salad stations.
• Follows recipes to ensure consistency, freshness and quality of ingredients while preparing food.
