Healthtrust Performance Group – Sales Implementation Specialist

Location: Nashville, TN | Full‑Time | Part‑Time

Job Summary and Qualifications

The Field Implementation Specialist is an entry‑level, customer‑facing role responsible for supporting on‑site product installations and driving successful conversions in hospital environments. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands‑on work, problem‑solving in real time, and interacting directly with customers. You will work on‑site at hospitals to set up equipment, support clinical teams during product transitions, and ensure a smooth, high‑quality customer experience. In addition to implementation, you will represent the brand in the field—building relationships with hospital staff, identifying opportunities to improve adoption, and supporting the broader Sales team in delivering value to customers. The position offers strong exposure to healthcare operations, medical technology, and field‑based sales.

What You Will Do in This Role
  • Perform hands‑on product installations, device setup, and on‑site support during customer conversions within hospital environments, meeting established timelines and quality expectations.
  • Execute assigned implementation activities while assisting Implementation, Clinical, and Sales teams in delivering customer implementation plans.
  • Serve as an on‑site representative, providing clear, professional communication and building trust with hospital staff and stakeholders.
  • Support field sales efforts by reinforcing product value and assisting with equipment preparation, training sessions, and in‑servicing activities.
  • Conduct basic technical troubleshooting in real time, escalating issues appropriately and coordinating with internal teams to ensure timely resolution.
  • Track progress against implementation milestones, communicate updates to stakeholders, and complete required reports, documentation, and follow‑up materials.
  • Identify, document, and communicate issues, constraints, and opportunities for product standardization and process improvement to supervisors and cross‑functional teams.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and Implementation teams to support successful execution of customer agreements and contribute field insights; assist with additional projects as assigned.
Qualifications You Will Need
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in business, healthcare, life sciences, or a related field (required).
  • Prior internship, academic project, or part‑time experience in healthcare, clinical environments, technical fieldwork, sales, or customer‑facing roles (preferred).
  • Mechanical proficiency and the ability to use simple tools (required).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage professionally with hospital staff and represent the brand effectively (required).
  • Basic mechanical aptitude, including comfort using simple tools and performing hands‑on equipment setup and adjustments (required).
  • Ability to learn and communicate product value, supporting customer understanding and adoption during on‑site interactions (required).
  • Solid problem‑solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues, follow defined processes, and expedite appropriately (required).
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain attention to detail in a fast‑paced, field‑based environment (required).
  • Ability to work independently while following direction from supervisors and collaborating effectively within cross‑functional teams (required).
  • Ability to travel 75% or higher.
  • Proficiency with basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office) and ability to learn internal systems for tracking, reporting, and communication.
Benefits
  • Comprehensive benefits for medical, prescription drug, dental, vision, behavioral health and telemedicine services.
  • Well‑being support, including free counseling and referral services.
  • Paid time off, paid family leave, long‑ and short‑term disability coverage and leaves of absence.
  • 401(k) plan with a 100% match on 3% to 9% of pay (based on years of service), Employee Stock Purchase Plan, flexible spending accounts, preferred banking partnerships, retirement readiness tools, rollover support and financial wellbeing counseling.
  • Tuition assistance, student loan assistance, certification support, dependent scholarships and a partnership with Galen College of Nursing.
  • Additional benefits for fertility and family building, adoption assistance, life insurance, supplemental health protection plans, auto and home insurance, legal counseling, identity theft protection and consumer discounts.
