Job summary

Fuze Health Inc. is seeking a contracts and regulatory compliance professional in New York to draft, review, and negotiate complex healthcare agreements.

The role entails collaboration with internal teams to ensure favorable terms, regulatory alignment, and robust contract playbooks. You will support privacy and HIPAA-related matters, advise on AKS, Stark Law, FDA requirements, and help implement training materials and policies.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate agreements including payer/customer agreements, data sharing agreements, BAAs/DPAs, SaaS and technology agreements, MSAs, and SOWs
• Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to ensure contract terms are favorable and operationally-minded
• Manage redlines, issues lists, internal alignment, and approval workflows through execution; memorialize deviations and approvals
• Maintain and improve templates, clause libraries, and playbooks to reduce cycle time and drive consistency
• Negotiate and document SLAs, support/uptime, data handling/retention, audit rights, business continuity, termination/transition assistance, and fee/charge guardrails
• Issue-spot and provide practical guidance on applicable laws and regulations (AKS, Stark Law, False Claims Act, FDA requirements) relevant to screening and diagnostic testing, lab certifications, and telehealth operations
• Support HIPAA and data protection matters, including incident response, breach investigations, and privacy compliance activities
• Partner with outside counsel on complex/regulatory questions; help implement recommendations
• Identify and support training materials and policy documents on relevant legal and business issues
• Advise internal business partners on legal risk and collaborate on strategies to manage risks
• Partner with Product, Regulatory Affairs, Clinical, and Marketing to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements
