WV Job Investment Trust - Kanawha Co. is seeking a HealthTech Appalachia Program Coordinator to lead the development and implementation of HTA, an initiative to identify and accelerate early health technologies in West Virginia.

This full-time grant-funded role reports to the HTA leadership and engages with a panel of advisors. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, healthcare administration, or related fields, with experience in startups, incubators, or healthcare

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in finance, economics, healthcare administration, or related field.
• Experience in startups, incubators/accelerators, investment firms, or healthcare consulting.
• Technical skills in financial analysis, valuation, due diligence, and market analysis.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of the HealthTech Appalachia initiative for WVJIT.
• Report to the HTA Program Manager and HTA Advisory Panel.
• Identify scalable technologies addressing rural health.
• Review HTA applications for compliance and eligibility.
• Assess viability of HTA investment opportunities and perform due diligence.
• Manage relationships with accelerators and incubation pilots; travel across WV.
• Complete CMS and program reporting and data tracking for compliance.
• Present investment findings to the HTA Advisory Panel for recommendations.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
