WV JOB INVESTMENT TRUST-KANAWHA CO. seeks a HealthTech Appalachia Program Coordinator to lead the development and implementation of HTA for rural health in West Virginia.

This full-time, grant-funded role focuses on identifying and accelerating early health technologies across the state. Reporting to the HTA Program Manager and Advisory Panel, you will manage the initiative, perform financial due diligence, review applications and investments, build partnerships, and ensure CMS reporting

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, healthcare administration, or related field required.
• MBA preferred for upper-level responsibilities and leadership.
• Experience in health startups, incubators/accelerators, or healthcare investment/consulting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead HealthTech Appalachia initiative for WVJIT and manage all aspects of the program.
• Report to HTA Program Manager and Advisory Panel; communicate findings and recommendations.
• Identify scalable technologies addressing rural health needs and evaluate HTA applications.
• Perform due diligence, market analysis, and investment viability reviews.
• Manage relationships with HTA program partners and stakeholders across the state; travel as needed.
• Complete CMS and program compliance reporting; maintain data tracking for funding.
• Present investment findings to the HTA Advisory Panel for recommendations; lead project execution.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
