Job summary

Mass Digital Health is seeking a Chief Architect for the HealthShare platform. This role will define the architectural direction and ensure it aligns with the product roadmap. Responsibilities include driving architectural evolution, guiding multi-tenant capabilities, and reducing operational costs and complexity.

The ideal candidate will possess deep experience in HealthShare architecture, strong knowledge of healthcare systems, and the ability to influence technical decisions across teams.

Qualifications

• Deep experience with InterSystems HealthShare architecture and engineering.
• Proven experience designing enterprise healthcare systems with substantial interoperability requirements.
• Experience defining architecture for multi-tenant and operationally scalable systems.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain the target architecture for HealthShare.
• Drive architectural evolution toward reusable platform services.
• Guide HealthShare services toward multi-tenant-capable designs.
• Partner with Product Management to align architectural investments with product goals.

Skills

Experience with InterSystems HealthShare architecture

Understanding of HL7 v2 and FHIR

Ability to influence across teams

Architectural rigor with delivery realities
