Job summary

The Workforce and Rural Health Department of the Tennessee Hospital Association leads statewide healthcare workforce programs and initiatives across Tennessee, partnering with hospitals, educational institutions, and government agencies. This role supports employer engagement, grant administration, reporting, and program evaluation to strengthen workforce pathways and expand access to healthcare.

Qualifications

• Clinical degree or healthcare-related degree required.
• Minimum of three (3) years of relevant professional work experience.
• State and/or Federal grant management and reporting preferred.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
• An equivalent combination of education, training, certifications, and relevant experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, onboard, and support healthcare employers participating in workforce development initiatives.
• Assist in administering workforce development grants and ensure compliance with grant requirements.
• Maintain employer, participant, and program databases; prepare reports, dashboards, presentations, and supporting documentation.
• Support engagement with healthcare employers, hospitals and health systems, educational institutions, and government agencies.
• Plan and facilitate meetings, trainings, webinars, stakeholder events, and represent THA at conferences.
• Support planning and implementation of statewide workforce development initiatives.
