Job summary

The Tennessee Hospital Association is seeking a Workforce Program Specialist to support statewide healthcare workforce programs and initiatives serving hospitals, employers, educational institutions, and government partners. You will manage employer engagement, technical assistance, grant administration, data reporting, and program evaluation while coordinating with THA leadership and TCWD.

Qualifications

• Clinical degree, healthcare-related associate degree, or bachelor's in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Public Health, Education, Human Resources, or related field required.
• Minimum of three years of relevant professional work experience in healthcare, workforce development, education/training, or grants administration preferred.
• State and/or Federal grant management and reporting experience preferred.
• PMI/PMP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, onboard, and support healthcare employers participating in workforce development initiatives; serve as primary contact for employer partners.
• Assist in administering workforce development grants and ensure compliance with grant agreements and reporting requirements.
• Maintain employer, participant, and program databases; prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations for THA leadership and stakeholders.
• Coordinate activities among hospitals, educational institutions, workforce organizations, and government agencies.
• Plan and facilitate meetings, trainings, webinars, and stakeholder events; represent THA at conferences and meetings.
• Travel approximately 20 percent of the time (around 50 days) for outreach and training.
