UAB Medicine is seeking a Workforce Development Coordinator to lead programs that build pipelines for healthcare roles. You will collaborate with HR, education providers, and community partners to design and implement training, apprenticeships, and career pathways.

The role emphasizes stakeholder engagement, data tracking, and grant coordination to sustain workforce initiatives in Alabama's healthcare sector.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Workforce Development, Human Resources, Education, Business Healthcare Administrations, Public Administration, or a related field.

Responsabilités

• Develop and coordinate workforce programs aligned with organizational needs.
• Partner with operational and HR leaders to identify workforce gaps and translate needs into actionable strategies.
• Build and maintain relationships with colleges, K-12 systems, workforce agencies, community organizations, and partners.
• Coordinate workforce initiatives from development through implementation, including timelines and deliverables.
• Support participants through recruitment, enrollment, onboarding, training, and career navigation.
• Track program participation, credential attainment, employment, advancement, retention, and outcomes; prepare reports.
• Support grant-funded workforce initiatives, including identifying funding opportunities, grant writing, and reporting.
• Represent the organization in regional workforce initiatives and community partnerships.
• Maintain knowledge of healthcare workforce trends and regional talent needs.
