Wellpath is seeking a Unit Clerk to provide administrative and medical support within a healthcare unit. The role emphasizes accurate record-keeping, inventory, and timely communication to ensure smooth clinic operations.

You will maintain logs, assist with supplies, answer calls, and manage medical records and appointments, contributing to efficient patient flow in a care-focused environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or G.E.D.
• Minimum of one year in a health care setting, medical terminology training; includes Excel and Word skills and strong organizational and communication abilities.
• This position is available only to those who reside in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate logs, inventories, and forms.
• Ensure the clinic and dental rooms are stocked and ready for use.
• Answer phone calls and arrange for needed supplies or repairs.
• Perform administrative tasks, such as filing and tracking medical records and appointments.
• Perform other duties as required, including duplicating materials, taking off orders, distributing mail and packages, and monitoring general e-mail correspondence.
