Job summary

Holland & Knight LLP seeks a Healthcare Transactions Associate to join its healthcare practice, preferably in Nashville, Chicago, or Houston. The role supports deal teams advising on healthcare and management services organization transactions.

2–6 years in general corporate and M&A is required, with healthcare transactions experience preferred. Private practice or in-house transactional experience will be considered.

Job description

Holland & Knight is seeking a Healthcare Transactions Associate to join its nationally recognized healthcare practice, preferably in Nashville, TN; Chicago, IL; or Houston, TX. This associate will be an integral member of deal teams advising clients on healthcare and legal management services organization transactions. Responsibilities will include drafting and negotiating transaction documents, managing due diligence, coordinating specialist review, and supervising junior associates. Ideal candidates will have 2-6 years of general corporate and mergers and acquisitions experience, with healthcare transactions experience strongly preferred. Private practice or law firm experience is preferred, and private equity experience is a plus. Candidates with relevant transactional experience from in-house roles will also be considered.
The successful candidate will bring strong drafting, negotiation, organizational, and project management skills, along with sound judgment, close attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced transactional environment. A strong academic background and immediately transferable corporate/M&A skills are essential.
