Job summary

Epic is seeking a Trainer to lead in-person and virtual training sessions for physicians, nurses, and healthcare users, while also guiding our staff through Epic adoption. You will design training materials, develop scenarios, and work with teams to create workflow-based content that improves software usability.

You’ll travel 25-60% of days and relocate to the Madison, WI area with relocation assistance. Join a collaborative campus that values training excellence and life-long learning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or greater (any major).
• Prior education, teaching, or performance experience preferred.
• Willingness to travel 25-60% of working days, with typical months including 1-2 trips lasting 2-4 days.
• Relocation to the Madison, WI area (reimbursed).
• COVID-19 vaccination required or preferred per policy.

Responsibilities

• Lead in-person and virtual training sessions for physicians, nurses, and other healthcare users, as well as staff.
• Serve as the first point of contact for staff and users, shaping their Epic experience during transition.
• Oversee instructional design and development of training materials and scenarios to be delivered.
• Collaborate with teams to design workflow-based training content and engage with organizations to develop their training.
• Participate in projects to improve Epic software usability and training effectiveness.
