Job summary

Epic is based just outside Madison, Wisconsin, and this Trainer role leads in-person and virtual training for physicians, nurses, and healthcare users. You will be the first contact for staff as they transition to Epic and help shape their experience. Relocation to the Madison area is reimbursed.

You’ll design training materials, develop scenarios, and work with organizations to tailor training and improve our software usability. Join a team that values impactful training and patient care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or greater (any major).
• Prior education, teaching, or performance experience preferred.
• A history of academic and professional success.
• Willingness to travel 25-60% of working days, with typical month including 1-2 trips lasting 2-4 days.
• Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• Relocation to the Madison, WI area (reimbursed).
• COVID-19 vaccination.

Responsibilities

• Lead in-person and virtual training sessions for physicians, nurses, and healthcare users.
• Develop training materials and scenarios from instructional design to delivery.
• Work with organizations to develop their training and improve workflows.
• Collaborate with teams to design workflow-based training content and projects.
