AdventHealth seeks a Training Specialist to lead education programs across multiple facilities in Florida. The role involves designing and delivering training for clinicians and staff, coordinating EHR-related instruction, and ensuring new users are properly onboarded before gaining access.

The position requires strong knowledge of adult learning, instructional design, and experience with healthcare operations.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of adult learning styles and training delivery in healthcare settings.
• Ability to identify education/training needs and participate in program development.
• Experience implementing traditional and modern training methods.
• Working knowledge of instructional design theory and implementation.
• Ability to complete full training cycle in ambulatory healthcare.
• Ability to develop effective presentations and serve as a trainer.

Responsibilities

• Assess training needs through on-site visits, analyses, surveys, and audits.
• Identify gaps and deploy training strategies to address them.
• Communicate barriers, risks, or delays related to training and learning plans.
• Monitor and improve training programs based on evaluations.
• Facilitate communications with teams about updates and changes in workflow.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current.
• Collaborate with teams to deliver training to all staff levels.
• Deliver training using varied methods to ensure comprehension.
