Job summary

AdventHealth seeks a training specialist to deliver and coordinate education across physician practices, ambulatory operations, and clinical staff. You will assess needs, design programs, and partner with teams to implement effective learning strategies, including EHR-related training and change management.

You will develop presentations, lead sessions for diverse audiences, and ensure training aligns with policy and compliance requirements. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of adult learning styles and training delivery in healthcare.
• Knowledge to identify education and training needs in a healthcare setting and participate in program development.
• Experience implementing and coordinating traditional and modern training methods and techniques.
• Knowledge of instructional design theory and implementation.
• Ability to complete full training cycle in ambulatory healthcare environments.

Responsibilities

• Regularly assesses training needs through on-site visits, analyses, surveys, and audits.
• Identifies gaps and devises training strategies to resolve them.
• Communicates barriers, risks, or delays related to training and learning plans.
• Monitors and evaluates training effectiveness and suggests improvements.
• Delivers training to physicians, clinicians, and staff at all levels.
• Coordinates training programs and assigns training before EHR access is granted.
• Tailors delivery to adult learner styles for proficiency.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
