Position: Healthcare Technician

Reports to: Project Manager

Type: Full-Time, Hourly, Non-Exempt

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Install, troubleshoot, and maintain electronic communication systems, including VOIP, SIP, computer, and networking systems.
  • Perform final hookup and programming of electronics equipment for new installations.
  • Respond promptly to customer service issues and document system readings.
  • Update customer records and conduct system testing and repairs.
  • Handle on-call duties as scheduled.
  • Train customers on equipment use and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and blueprints.
  • Operate test equipment such as Volt Meter, Oscilloscope, Spectrum Analyzer, etc.
  • Assist with preventive maintenance and ensure safety compliance.
  • Accurately track time, service tickets, and inventory items.
Qualifications:
  • Two-year electronics degree or equivalent experience (1-3 years preferred).
  • Knowledge of communication systems, VoIP, data networks, wireless data, fire alarms, CCTV, sound systems, or nurse call systems.
  • Cisco and Microsoft certifications are desirable.
Education:
  • High school diploma required; proficiency in reading, writing, and basic math essential.
  • Preferred: Associate degree in Electronics, IT, or Computer Programming; certifications like NSCA CEST, NICET, RCDD, or factory training.
Additional Skills:
  • Excellent communication, organization, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under stress.
  • Proficiency with MS Office and basic engineering skills.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
Physical & Environmental Requirements:
  • Ability to stand, walk, climb, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform manual tasks.
  • Moderate noise environment; some outdoor work possible.
