Carle Health seeks a Health Care Technician (HCT) to support licensed nursing staff in providing personal care and hygiene for patients in Illinois. Under RN supervision, you will assist with daily living activities, documentation, and communication with the care team.

Responsibilities include vital signs, glucose monitoring, data collection, and helping with transportation and hygiene tasks to ensure patient safety and comfort.

Competenze

• BLS within 30 days (AHA).
• H.S. Diploma or GED required.
• Past CNA experience within 24 months or completion of Carle's HCT In Training Program.

Mansioni

• Assist with unit supplies and equipment, including stocking and chart preparation.
• Collect and document data for assigned patients as directed by RN.
• Demonstrate competency in vital signs, glucose monitoring, I&O, and other skills.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living and hygiene care.
• Prepare patients for transportation and assist with transport as needed.
• Respond to call lights and support overall patient comfort and safety.
