Job summary

Rising Medical Solutions is seeking a Systems Analyst II to translate business requirements into robust technical specifications and collaborate with cross-functional teams. The role focuses on integrations between internal and external systems, impact analysis, and producing clear data mappings and test materials.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in a business systems analyst role, knowledge of healthcare billing/claims processes, and strong SQL/XML/EDI skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, preferably in IT-related field.
• A minimum of two full years of experience in a business systems analyst or equivalent role.
• Experience with workers’ compensation and health insurance systems and processes.
• Experience with requirements analysis and cross-functional collaboration.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Working knowledge of database concepts and SQL.
• Experience mapping data between distinct models (XML/EDI).
• Ability to convey technical information clearly.

Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into technical specifications reflecting business processes.
• Collaborate with developers, QA, and project teams to implement or enhance systems.
• Represent Rising in client and partner system implementations.
• Develop subject matter expertise on integrations between internal and external systems.
• Investigate production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and communicate findings.
• Create use cases and data flow diagrams.
• Assist with test plans and training materials.
• Review systems for enhancements aligning with company KPIs.
• Train Professional Services team members on knowledge transfers.
