Job summary

Rising Medical Solutions, LLC seeks a Systems Analyst II to translate business needs into technical requirements and support system implementations. You will collaborate with developers, QA, and clients to ensure accurate, scalable integrations and data flows.

You will develop SOX-like data mappings, analyze XML/EDI messages, and contribute to test plans and training materials while improving processes and KPIs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, preferably in an IT-related field.
• Minimum of two years of experience as a business systems analyst or equivalent.
• Experience with workers' compensation insurance, group health insurance, medical bill review, and/or health care industry systems.
• Experience with requirements analysis and cross-functional teams.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Working knowledge of database and data modeling concepts.
• Experience with B2B data transactions and data mapping between models.
• Experience analyzing XML or EDI messages.
• Strong SQL and database skills.
• Ability to communicate technical information in meetings with internal and client teams.
• Proficient with spreadsheet, relational database, and word processing software.
• Experience creating visual models to support requirements (data flow/workflow diagrams).
• Ability to adapt to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines.
• Ability to quantify results in terms of cost savings and KPIs.
• History of proactively identifying system improvements.

Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into technical requirements and ensure system requirements reflect business processes.
• Communicate requirements and collaborate with developers, QA analysts, and project teams.
• Represent Rising in client and partner meetings for system implementations.
• Develop subject matter expertise on integrations between company and external/internal systems.
• Assist with production support—investigate issues and provide root-cause analysis.
• Develop use cases and process/data flow diagrams.
• Support creation of test plans and training materials.
• Review systems and identify enhancements that affect KPIs and company strategy.
• Train Professional Services team members on subject matter knowledge.
