Qualifications

• Associate's degree in a related field or the equivalency.
• One year of experience in a related area.
• Driver's license may be required by department of hire.
• CDL with HAZMAT endorsement may be required by department of hire.

Responsibilities

• Supervises daily department operations, including interviewing and hiring staff, training, and creating work schedules.
• Enforces department standards, policies, and procedures; initiates corrective action as needed.
• Evaluates performance to ensure standards are met.
• Resolves issues, provides support, and expedites service to hospital departments.
• Monitors safety and quality assurance by inspecting processes for completeness and accuracy.
• Maintains department records and prepares monthly reports.
• Monitors and maintains stock of department supplies and equipment.
• Participates in hospital committees and meetings as assigned.
• May assist in budget preparation.
• Performs additional duties of the department as assigned.
