Job summary

Actalent in Santa Barbara, CA is hiring for a bilingual Healthcare Support role. No prior dental experience required; we provide training for the right candidate and offer a clear path to a long-term healthcare career.

You'll assist the dental team, handle patient communications, maintain instruments and rooms, and ensure infection-control standards. This full-time, onsite position pays $21–$22 per hour with benefits and room to grow within a supportive team.

Schedule

• Full-Time
• Monday-Friday
• 8-hour shifts between 8:00 AM - 6:30 PM
• No weekends!

What You'll Do

• Assist dentists chairside during a variety of dental procedures while ensuring patient comfort and safety.
• Prepare, sterilize, and maintain dental instruments, equipment, and treatment rooms in compliance with infection control standards.
• Take dental radiographs, impressions, and perform laboratory procedures as directed by the dentist.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene, post-operative care, treatment plans, and preventive dental practices.
• Document patient information accurately in electronic dental records (EDR) and verified patient eligibility, demographics, and insurance information.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Santa Barbara, CA.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $22.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
