A mission-driven healthcare organization is seeking an experienced Registered Dental Assistant for a full-time, onsite temporary opportunity supporting a patient-centered dental team in the Valley Center, CA area. This role is ideal for an RDA who enjoys hands-on clinical support, patient interaction, and working closely with dentists during general and specialty dental procedures.

Key Responsibilities
- - Assist dentists during examinations, treatments, and general or specialty dental procedures.
- - Prepare patients, operatories, instruments, and dental materials to support efficient clinical care.
- - Take dental X-rays, impressions, medical histories, and vital signs as needed.
- - Sterilize instruments and maintain infection-control standards in accordance with clinical requirements.
- - Provide patient education and help create a comfortable, organized, and positive patient experience.
- - Maintain accurate electronic patient records while following HIPAA, CDC, Cal/OSHA, and safety guidelines.
Compensation and Benefits
- - Pay: $29.75 to $32.12 per hour, depending on experience.
- - Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday.
- - Assignment type: Temporary assignment through December.
- - Work arrangement: Onsite.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- - Assist with general and specialty dental procedures in a clinical dental setting.
- - Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, materials, and patients for dental care.
- - Support infection control, sterilization, patient documentation, and safety compliance.
- - Provide professional patient care and education throughout the visit.
- - Current California Registered Dental Assistant license required.
- - Minimum 1 year of Registered Dental Assistant experience required.
- - Graduate of an RDA or Dental Assisting program.
- - BLS certification required or ability to obtain within 6 months.
- - Strong understanding of infection control, sterilization, HIPAA, CDC, Cal/OSHA, and dental safety standards.
- - Strong patient care, communication, teamwork, organization, and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- - 3 or more years of Registered Dental Assistant experience preferred.
- - Epic EHR experience preferred.
- - OCHIN Epic experience is a plus.
