Job summary

Huntsville Hospital is seeking a Materials Management Technician to support supply activities across departments in a healthcare setting. You will check par levels, deliver inventory to replenish pars, process requisitions, replenish Code Carts, and enter data into the Purchasing Inventory System.

Qualifications include two years in Supply Chain/Medical Supplies Buyer and the ability to read and write at an eighth‑grade level.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years of Supply Chain and/or Medical Supplies Buyer experience in a healthcare setting is strongly preferred.
• Must be able to read and write the equivalent of eighth-grade English.

Responsibilities

• Check par levels of specified areas and deliver supplies to replenish pars.
• Fill and deliver requisition requests and replenish Code Carts.
• Enter purchasing inventory system with related activities.
• Assist in receiving, tagging and stocking supplies in designated storage areas.
• Maintain clean and orderly storage areas.
