Job summary

HCA Healthcare’s St. David's South Austin Medical Center is seeking a Supply Inventory Technician. You will receive, key, and distribute supplies, maintain Min/Max safety stock, and conduct routine inventories in POU areas according to schedule.

You will ensure proper barcoding, process returns, and support nurses stations while working with the SMART system. High school diploma or GED and hospital supply experience preferred. Full-time, on-site role in Austin, TX.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Previous hospital supply experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver supplies accurately and in a timely manner.
• Transport and deliver legend drugs, non-prescription drugs, contrast media and drug-containing devices per policy.
• Place safety stock in proper location and review Min/Max levels daily.
• Receive expedited deliveries, key into the SMART system, and deliver to appropriate department(s).
• Process all cross-docked items into SMART as appropriate.
• Count par level areas weekly and ensure POU items have barcodes.
