Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CNA with long-term care experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Basic understanding of inventory or supply management.
• Able to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory of all medical supplies.
• Coordinate with vendors regarding orders, deliveries, and invoicing.
• Communicate with nursing staff to ensure supply availability and needs are met.
• Prepare rooms for new admissions by ensuring supplies are in place.
• Review invoices for accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
• Ensure all supply storage areas are clean, organized, and hazard-free.
• Assist with new staff orientation and training on supply tracking systems.
• Attend in-service programs, workshops, and meetings.
• Follow safety and sanitation procedures, including universal precautions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
