Medical City Plano, part of HCA Healthcare, seeks a Facility Supply Chain Supervisor to lead, implement, measure, and direct all on-site supply chain activities, including receiving, distributing, replenishment and inventory management, while maintaining safety stock levels across storerooms.

The role also coordinates staff performance and develops the team under the Director of Supply Chain Operations or COO, to support patient care excellence.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business Management, Healthcare Administration, or similar field preferred.
• Three to Five years’ material management experience required.

Responsabilités

• Supervises the on-site processing, inventory and delivery of all orders.
• Assists with coordinating, managing, and evaluating supply chain personnel.
• Create a supportive environment for supply chain staff development and the delivery of supply chain solutions.
• Raise and resolve facility-based supply chain issues and improvement opportunities.
• Prepares schedule for the on-site operations.
• Attend in-service presentations and complete mandatory education including infection control, patient safety, quality improvements, MSDS and OSHA standards.
• Demonstrates knowledge of occurrence reporting system and uses it to report potential patient safety issues.
• Process all lost charge reports and resolve discrepancies.
• Authorized to transport and deliver legend drugs, non-prescription drugs, contrast media and drug-containing devices as per core competencies.

Formation

High School Diploma or GED

Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business Management, Healthcare Administration, or similar field Preferred

Three to Five years’ material management experience
