Job summary

The University of Iowa Health Care Supply Chain Department seeks a Supply Chain Coordinator to manage vendor pricing agreements and GPO contracts in PeopleSoft. You will generate reports, validate pricing, and support contract management across multiple systems including Epic and Chargemaster.

This role emphasizes data accuracy, cross-functional collaboration with Purchasing, and continuous process improvement. A 1–3 year background in data analysis or contract administration is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in data analysis, contract administration or related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office with emphasis on Excel for data analysis, comparison and reporting.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build effective working relationships.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain vendor pricing agreements and GPO contracts in PeopleSoft.
• Develop contract reports to support pricing accuracy and contract management.
• Collaborate with supply chain product representatives and Purchasing to resolve pricing discrepancies and improve processes.
• Work with PeopleSoft, Epic, and Chargemaster to maintain data integrity across databases.
• Cross-train for item master maintenance and EDI processes as needed.
• Generate and analyze reports for items on contract/not on contract and identify savings opportunities.
• Provide backup support for item creation, item attributes, and system interfaces.
• Support bids, supplier evaluations and purchasing recommendations with data analysis.
