Job summary

Chartis is seeking first-year non-MBA master's students for Summer 2027 internships across Generalist and Digital & Technology Transformation tracks. Interns will join consulting teams, plan distinct work segments, and collaborate with Engagement Managers and Partners on 3–6 month engagements.

Starting salaries for full-time hires begin at $110,000 with discretionary bonuses; Chartis offers medical, dental, vision, HSA/FSA, disability and life insurance, 401(k) match, paid time off, wellness

Qualifications

• 2+ years of consulting experience or relevant healthcare experience required.
• Advanced healthcare related non-MBA master's degree; first year students graduating in spring/summer 2027.
• Comfortable manipulating and synthesizing large amounts of data.
• Experience leading in a team with minimal oversight.
• Excellent problem-solving and client-diagnostics mindset.
• Proficient in Excel; strong PowerPoint and Word skills.
• Able to adapt to change and work under pressure.
• Effective communicator, quick on feet, with travel flexibility.
• Based in Chicago or New York City during the summer internship.

Responsibilities

• Define analytic approaches and integrate analyses to identify issues and opportunities.
• Gather and refine complex data sets to enable robust quantitative analyses.
• Provide insights into hypotheses and support client problem understanding.
• Support consulting team by delivering commitments on time.
• Create concise client communications and present analytic findings and recommendations.
• Capture engagement approaches for knowledge development.
