Job summary

AltaMed Health Services is seeking a Staffing Scheduler I to support scheduling across departments and ensure efficient workforce coverage. The role emphasizes timely scheduling, adherence to labor policies, and clear communication of shift changes to staff and leadership.

Ideal candidates will have a High School diploma and at least 1 year in a staffing/office role, with health care experience and bilingual ability (English/Spanish/Chinese) preferred depending on location.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of experience as staffing office clerk or in a similar office role preferred.
• Prior health care experience preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish/Chinese depending on location is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support scheduling and coordination of staff across multiple departments.
• Ensure timely and accurate workforce scheduling and monitor staffing levels.
• Communicate shift changes and coverage updates to staff and leadership.
• Assist with organization-wide scheduling initiatives and system rollouts.
