Cantex is seeking a Staffing Coordinator to ensure appropriate staffing patterns for the facility within the budgeted PPD. The role includes conducting initial interviews, reference checks, and staff scheduling, plus clinical education and orientation for staff.

ESSENTIAL duties include coordinating monthly and daily staffing, maintaining records, and supporting the DON with scheduling and EMR-related tasks. This position emphasizes patient safety and high-quality care delivery.

Qualifications

• Prefer current licensed LVN in applicable state.
• High School Graduate or GED.
• Experience staffing in a 24-hour healthcare setting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience in interviewing and hiring nursing department personnel.
• Experience utilizing electronic medical records system.

Responsabilités

• Prepare monthly nursing schedules 6 weeks out and 2 weeks before expiration.
• Prepare daily sign-in sheets two weeks in advance.
• Monitor staffing per PPD and census to minimize overtime.
• Report staffing challenges to the DON immediately.
• Maintain attendance records and address attendance issues.
• May conduct initial nursing interviews and reference checks.
• May initiate EMR training and act as Super User in EMR.
• Fill open positions and manage applicant tracking.
