Job summary

Harmony Utica Ridge is seeking a highly organized Staffing Coordinator to ensure our residents receive exceptional care by maintaining staffing coverage for our nursing team. The role involves scheduling, payroll support, attendance tracking, and ensuring nursing departments are staffed for outstanding resident care.

Responsibilities include creating schedules, coordinating shifts and absences, maintaining staffing records, and assisting with payroll verification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous scheduling, staffing, healthcare, or administrative experience preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain nursing staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage for every shift.
• Coordinate staffing for open shifts, call-ins, vacations, and other scheduling needs.
• Maintain accurate daily and monthly staffing records.
• Assist with payroll verification by ensuring nursing staff hours are accurate.
• Track employee attendance and communicate concerns with nursing leadership.
• Partner with the Director of Nursing and leadership team to support daily operations.
• Help maintain compliance with federal, state, and local staffing requirements.
• Promote a safe, organized, and resident-centered environment.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and compliance activities.
• Foster positive communication with residents, families, employees, and visitors.
