Job summary

Netsmart is seeking a Technical Solution Architect to design and optimize enterprise reports within the Netsmart myAvatar NX platform, leveraging ActiveReports and SQL to deliver actionable insights for clinical, operational, and regulatory goals.

The role partners with clients and internal teams to translate complex requirements into scalable solutions, guiding upgrades, troubleshooting, and knowledge transfer across multiple time zones, with travel up to 20%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
• 4+ years in health care IT implementation or consulting.
• 3+ years developing enterprise reports with ActiveReports/ActiveReports.NET.
• 3+ years writing SQL queries with joins, subqueries and aggregations.
• 1 year of project management experience.
• Ability to communicate with technical, clinical and operational teams.
• Ability to document and present architecture concepts clearly.
• Ability to build client relationships and deliver client-centric solutions.
• Ability to solve complex information issues effectively.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, modify, and maintain reports using ActiveReports/ActiveReports.NET based on business requirements.
• Implement report features: grouping, sorting, filtering, parameters, calculated fields, formatting, charts, subreports, exports.
• Provide guidance during client engagements to achieve defined benefits.
• Guide clients through workflows, upgrades, and ongoing system maintenance.
• Serve as primary consultant for solution troubleshooting and knowledge transfer.
• Foster client relationships and provide escalation and engagement support.
• Resolve escalations during installation, operation, or testing.
• Manage client expectations to meet engagement goals.
• Mentor solution teams on recommended methodology practices.
