Job summary

Highmark Health is offering the Summer 2027 Software Engineer enGen Graduate Internship to graduate students aiming to gain hands-on experience in enterprise healthcare technology. You will work with the DCSS application development team on applications, APIs, and cloud-enabled modernization initiatives.

You will collaborate with software engineers, architects, business analysts, and product owners, participating in the full software lifecycle in an Agile setting while gaining exposure to DevOps

Qualifications

• Pursuing a graduate degree while interning is expected.
• Strong collaboration with software engineers, architects, analysts and product owners.
• Experience or coursework in enterprise application development and APIs is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and test application components and APIs.
• Support APIs and system integrations as part of modernization efforts.
