Job summary

OSF HealthCare seeks Standardized Participants to portray patients and family members for healthcare student training. You will participate in simulated cases, be interviewed and examined by students, and provide structured feedback after sessions.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
Must portray a person consistently in standardized simulations.
Must be comfortable with repeated physical examination maneuvers on self.
Must be willing to wear a hospital gown on camera.
Must have strong reading and writing skills.
Must be able to work a varied schedule including mornings, afternoons, early evening and occasional weekends.
Access to Windows OSF communications and training; internet required.

Responsibilities

Portray a standardized participant based on real cases for student learning and evaluation.
Be interviewed, counseled, and physically examined by healthcare students as part of the training environment.
Provide feedback to students, particularly on communication and interpersonal skills.
